DMB Show Virgin Wins the Lottery!!!
I attended the Superpages Dallas show on September 11th with my daughter for my first Four Tet experience. We sat on the lawn and the venue was packed, sold out. Before Dave came on, a weather front blew through, with an impressive display of cloud-to-cloud lightning just above the venue, thanks to God. The show started off in a great way. To my left, there was a guy who had been to 24 previous shows, and to my right, a couple who had attended 14 shows and had also been at the previous night's show in Houston. DMB came on and did what they do best for a solid two hours. Every song was personal and performed with their all. The lighting and sound quality were incredible. The crowd was really into it, with most people on the lawn standing for the entire show. There was a lot of singing and dancing all around, making every moment quite an experience. DMB closed with a two-song encore, and Ants-Marching was amazing. I now understand why so many people attend their shows repeatedly. I will be one of them as soon as they resume touring after their break. As we were about to leave, the guy who had been to 14 shows mentioned that this show was the best he had seen, making me delighted I picked it for my first experience.
